Every Memorial Day weekend, Chagrin Falls, Ohio, celebrates spring with Blossom Time, an exciting, family-friendly festival put on by the Chagrin Valley Jaycees. The festival draws tens of thousands of visitors from the local area and beyond. Blossom Time runs from Thursday, May 23, to Sunday, May 26 this year.
No matter your age or interests, you'll find something to enjoy at our annual small-town festival. Here are some of the community events planned for Blossom Time this year:
Riverside Park Carnival
Looking for thrills? The carnival features dozens of rides, games, and delicious food. Children and adults alike will enjoy the festivities. Visitors may purchase all-weekend ride bracelets at a discount online.
The Balloon Glow
Seeing hot-air balloons lit up at dusk is a magical experience. This year, the event will take place at Chagrin Falls High School. Check the festival website for further details as they become available.
The Blossom Time Run
The 5.25-mile Blossom Time Run winds through the village on Sunday, allowing local athletes and casual runners to showcase their skills. This year, a Fitness Walk and Kiddie Run accompany the main event

An interdenominational runner's service will take place at the United Methodist Church of Chagrin Falls at 8:00 a.m. on Sunday.
The Sunday Parade
Come experience the fun of a true small-town parade on Sunday. The parade route starts at Chagrin Falls High School and makes its way into the village. The annual Jaycees brought back the parade, a cherished local tradition from the years before World War II. Visitors can enjoy floats, trucks, performers, and marching bands.
The Taste of Chagrin
Food trucks converge on North Franklin Street on Saturday, bringing treats like pulled pork sandwiches, funnel cakes, burgers, and smoothies.
